Dayton Humphreys – Wright City

2024 was Dayton’s first year starting as quarterback for us. Over the course of the season, he developed into a true dual-threat quarterback. He is an accurate passer who has really improved his arm strength over the offseason. Dayton has had a strong summer and fall camp. We look for him to be a big-time playmaker and leader for us on offense.

Benji Rodriguez – Wright City

Benji plays free safety. He burst onto the scene last year as a sophomore, leading us in both tackles and interceptions. He has great football instincts, allowing him to come downhill from free safety to make tackles and then to play a great centerfield on passing plays. He is taking over the starting running back spot. Benji has great vision, quickness, toughness, physicality and the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. Benji can make just as big of an impact on the offense side of the ball as he can on the defensive side.
