
VYPE: What do you love most about being a student-athlete at Neosho HS?
Ashlyn Stevens: I love being a student athlete at Neosho high school is the environment and my teammates.
VYPE: What grade are you in and what is your favorite subject?
AS: I’m a senior in high school and my favorite subject was science.
VYPE: How long have you been playing softball and what position do you play?
AS: I’ve been playing softball since I was 4 and I play left and center field.
VYPE: If you could play any other position on the field, which would it be?
AS: if I could play any position in the field it would be center field I really like the outfield and center is my number one spot.
VYPE: What is your favorite pre-game and post-game meal?
AS: My favorite pre game meal is really anything but my post-game meal is most definitely McDonalds.
VYPE: Where is your favorite place to play and why?
AS: My favorite place to play is our home field I love playing home games the girls have so much energy and the community fills the stands.
VYPE: What opponent do you look forward to playing this season?
AS: The opponent I look forward to playing is definitely Republic we always put up and good game against them and can’t wait to see how we play this year.
VYPE: Who on the team keeps everyone laughing, who is the most serious and who has the best impression of your coach?
AS: The player that keeps the team laughing is Sadee Leach she’s always saying the funniest things and never disappoints to make everyone laugh. The most serious would have to be coach Stackhouse he’s always locked in and ready to play.
VYPE: Who has been a big influence in your life? Explain.
AS: My biggest influence would have to be Autumn Kinnard she’s always working in and out of the field and she’s someone I look up to a lot and she’s never failed to help somebody else out.
VYPE: What would you like to do after you graduate?
AS: After graduating I would like to keep playing softball still but not quite sure yet.
