
VYPE: What grade are you in this year, how long have you been playing and what
position do you play?
Addysan Hart: I am a senior at Neosho High School. I play Middle Infield, Third Base, and Outfield. I have been playing softball since I was 5 or 6 years old, when I started playing for the Neosho little league.
VYPE: What clubs and campus activities are you involved with?
AH: I am involved in National Honors Society and Neosho’s FMP (Freshman Mentorship Program) at the high school.
VYPE: What has been the highlight moment of your career?
AH: The highlight moment of my high school softball career was celebrating with my girls after winning the conference championship game.
VYPE: Where do you see yourself in five years, both in sports and outside of it?
AH: I see myself devoting my personal time to help youth softball programs in my community while working as a registered nurse; as well as, working towards completing my master’s degree.
VYPE: How important is community support to the team, and in what ways does it impact your performance?
AH: Community support is incredibly important to our team; moreover, I believe we play our best when our families and community is cheering us on from the stands!
VYPE: What advice would you give to younger players aspiring to play high school sports?
AH: Work hard, stay dedicated, and never give up on your dreams. Also, have fun and enjoy the journey!
VYPE: Looking back, what are you most proud of in your sports career at your school?
AH: I am most proud of my ability to help other girls on the team. I do my best to fulfill my leadership role on the field; by doing so I try my best to help the younger girls with anything I can.
VYPE: Is there anyone you’d like to thank for supporting you throughout your journey?
AH: I would like to thank my family for always supporting me throughout everything in my life; however, I would especially thank my mom. She has always supported me and made sure I have everything I need to be successful.
VYPE: Anything you would like to add?
AH: Do not take your four years of high school sports for granted, it truly flies bye.
