Britton Ahart – Eldon High School
Versatility has become Britton Ahart’s trademark at Eldon High School. As a junior, the boys standout filled the stat sheet, averaging 11.6 points and 5.2 rebounds per game while finishing second on the team with 2.5 assists per contest. His ability to score inside and out, crash the glass and create for others made him one of the most reliable all-around performers in the Tri-County area last season.
Head coach Nathanial Caudel leans heavily on Ahart’s complete game and unselfish approach. “Britton provides problems for defenses with his ability to score both inside and outside, and he’s a very willing passer who looks to get everyone involved offensively,” Caudel said.
That mentality has helped shape Eldon’s identity. Ahart can punish smaller defenders on the block, step out to stretch the floor or read double-teams and kick to open teammates. His rebounding presence at 5.2 boards per game gives the Mustangs extra possessions, and his court vision from the wing or high post keeps the ball moving and the offense fluid. Coming off 2nd Team All-Conference and All-District Media honors as a junior, he now enters his senior season as the centerpiece of Eldon’s attack and a player opposing coaches must game-plan around every night.
