El Dorado Springs finished 4–6 and heads into 2026 with growing depth and leadership. Head coach Eddie Long, in his third year, writes, “Looking forward to this upcoming season. We lost some key players but those players taught these players how to continue to build this program.” He says, “We have developed some great Leaders. Excited to see the kids’ hard work pay off,” and notes, “We have more depth than we have had in recent years which will lead to some great competition for positions in practice.” Long is joined by assistants Travis Payne, Owen Gray, Trey Graves, Bill Gray, Nick Norval and David Carpenter.

Offensively, the Bulldogs return five starters and run a “Multi Wing Offense.” The philosophy is straightforward: “We want to be a physical run heavy football team.” Senior receiver Graydee Wolfe (6‑1, 160) caught “30 catches, 515 yards, 6 TDs,” junior quarterback Rylun Mays (5‑8, 160) carried “101 carries, 750 yards, 9 TDs” and completed “47 completions, 866 yards, 9 TDs,” and junior tight end Kane Caldwell (6‑2, 220) and senior lineman Dony Kirkham (5‑10, 190) are listed among the offensive leaders.

Defensively, seven starters return. Wolfe plays defensive back and recorded “6 interceptions,” senior linebacker Alec Farran (5‑8, 160) had “72 tackles,” Kirkham added “52 tackles” from linebacker, Caldwell posted “41 tackles” on the defensive line, Mays contributed “41 tackles” from the secondary, and junior linebacker Lane Mead (6‑0, 190) made “20 tackles.” The Bulldogs base out of a “4-3 defense” and “want to stop the run and prevent the big play,” highlighting a physical, disciplined approach.

Wolfe is the MVP nominee and is described as “A coach’s dream. A great Student Athlete. A great team leader.” The row notes he “Was 2nd in the state with the most interceptions in Class 2,” and lists honors: “Class 2 3rd Team All State DB. 1st Team All Area DB. 1st Team All District DB. 1st Team All Conference DB and WR.” Underclassman Quade Hutchison is a “Big Lineman. 6′ 290lbs” who “Had a great off season in the Weight Room” and “Will anchor the offensive line.”
