Centralia’s Chris Brown and Ethan Ross – Presented by Shelter Insurance

CENTRALIA HIGH SCHOOL

Missouri Football Player Nominations

Centralia High School, coached by Tyler Forsee, brings a blend of experience and explosive ability to the 2026 season, and the Panthers’ nominations spotlight two of their most important veterans. On the line, Chris Brown has been a fixture for Centralia, starting four years on the defensive front and heading into his third year as a starter on the offensive line. Brown is coming off a standout season in which he earned first-team All-CCC and first-team All-District honors on defense, leading the team in tackles for loss and tying for the team lead in quarterback sacks. Forsee credits Brown as a great leader who has had a major impact on the program, setting the tone with his physical play and consistency. His ability to dominate at the point of attack on both sides of the ball makes him one of the most valuable players in the Panthers’ system.

In the backfield, Centralia leans heavily on running back Ethan Ross. Ross is a three-year starter on offense and is coming off a season in which he was named first-team All-CCC at running back. Over the last two seasons he has accumulated just under 2,000 rushing yards in only 14 games, illustrating his big-play capability and reliability. He is a dynamic runner with verified 4.41 speed in the 40-yard dash at the Elite Prospect Combine, giving Centralia a home-run threat every time he touches the ball. Forsee praises Ross’s character and leadership, noting that he is a great teammate as well as a top-tier athlete. Together, Brown’s presence in the trenches and Ross’s explosiveness in the ground game provide Centralia with a strong foundation as the Panthers aim to compete at a high level in 2026.
