Seth Stack, a senior at Pacific High School, is a multi-sport athlete and natural leader who takes pride in constant growth, hard work, and representing his community. As the quarterback for the football team and a small forward on the basketball court, Stack brings skill, poise, and heart to everything he does.
Stack’s motivation comes from a simple but powerful mindset, “I always want to get 1% better,” he says. That drive to improve, day by day, fuels his performance and character, both on the field and in life.
Stack draws inspiration from the strong role models in his life, both his dad and grandfather. “My dad taught me what it means to be a good person,” he says. “He comes to every game and has always been there for me.” His grandfather also holds a special place in his heart, as someone who helped shape his early years with time, wisdom, and love.
One teacher who left a lasting impact on Stack is Mrs. Titter, his 4th and 5th grade teacher. “She made learning fun and always made my day better. She even still comes to some of my games.”
For Stack, success hasn’t come without sacrifice. Balancing sports, school, and work takes discipline. His efforts paid off in a major way during his sophomore year when his team won the district championship, a favorite sport’s memory to date.
Outside of athletics, Stack is a mentor in the A+ program, mentoring elementary students in his district. He also has big goals for the future. Stack is planning to attend college and eventually law school.
What means the most to Stack is representing his school and community. “After my mom passed away, the support I received from Pacific was overwhelming,” he shares. “Now, I always try my best to represent Pacific in the best way possible.”
With heart, humility, and determination, Seth Stack is a name Pacific can stand behind.
