Trevyn Adams, a senior at Midway High School, is the kind of student-athlete every school hopes to have, hardworking, humble, and driven to succeed. A standout in football, baseball, and track, Adams has built a reputation as a fierce competitor and a strong leader for Midway athletics.

On the football field, Adams excels as both a running back and linebacker, bringing intensity and heart to every snap. One of the highlights of his career came during his sophomore season, when he racked up an incredible five touchdowns in a single game against Wellington Napoleon. While on the baseball field, he holds down third base with confidence, and in track, he competes in shot put and the 100-meter dash, showing off his strength and speed year-round.

Adams’ motivation comes from the thrill of winning and seeing progress through hard work. For Adams, it’s about always lifting, staying active, and never really taking an off-season. Adams shared with Vype Magazine success has also come with trusting his teammates.

A big part of his success, Adams says, comes from the people around him. “I’m very grateful for the support system I have, my family, friends, and coaches.” He credits Coach Schenker for having the biggest impact on his life. “He’s helped me grow as a leader on the field and as a person off of it,” Adams shares. His role models are his parents, who have instilled strong values and work ethic in him from a young age.

Outside of sports, Adams is just as involved. He’s a member of the National Honor Society and Student Government. After graduation, he hopes to play college football but is currently undecided on a college.

For Adams, wearing the school colors for Midway High means everything. “I always try to show good sportsmanship and character because I want to show how great this community is.” Trevyn Adams is not just an athlete, he’s a role model for what it means to lead with integrity.
