Ka’Von Tiger is a dynamic force on the football field for Moberly High School. A senior running back, Ka’Von has earned a reputation for his explosive speed, determination, and leadership on and off the field. His love for the game is the driving force behind everything he does. “What motivates me is just the love for the game. I love to play it and have fun,” he said. That passion has translated into a standout career filled with memorable moments and hard-earned accomplishments.

Influenced by his parents, who have always encouraged him to be the best version of himself, Ka’Von carries that drive into every practice and game. “My parents always push me to be the best,” he said, acknowledging the strong foundation they’ve provided. His football journey has also been shaped by his physical conditioning coach, who also serves as the head coach. From starting him as a young athlete to guiding him through his high school career, Ka’Von credits him with helping him develop the discipline and skills necessary to succeed.

Success, Ka’Von believes, comes from dedication and effort. “You need to be dedicated and well-driven. I have practiced and played with great effort, and I think that’s what it takes,” he said. That dedication was on full display during his sophomore season, when he scored five touchdowns and rushed for 298 yards in a single game, a career highlight and a moment that proved his potential as a starting player.

While Ka’Von thrives individually, he also values his teammates. “Kyler Fanning is the teammate I like practicing with most, mainly because he’s an athlete who can do it all. He always gives his best and is overall just a dog,” Ka’Von said, highlighting the competitive camaraderie that pushes him to improve every day.

Balancing school and football is a challenge, but Ka’Von has found a rhythm with a structured schedule, ensuring he meets his responsibilities on and off the field. Beyond his athletic contributions, he takes pride in his role as a leader and role model for his teammates. “I feel as if other kids and my own teammates look up to me,” he said, embracing the responsibility with humility and determination.
